The offer
Waiting for Child Care Subsidy approval can make the first few weeks of care feel harder than they need to be. The Start Now, Pay Half offer is designed to make that first step easier.
If your family is eligible, Amara can apply an $80/day discount, equal to 50% off the daily gross rate, while your CCS application is being processed for up to the first 6 weeks.

How it works
Tour the centre, confirm your enrolment details, and start care with the $80/day discount while your CCS application is being processed.
Step 1
Come in for a short tour of Amara. Meet the team, see the rooms, and ask your enrolment questions.
Step 2
Submit your Child Care Subsidy application through myGov or Services Australia if you have not already.
Step 3
Bring a screenshot or PDF of your myGov CCS application confirmation when you enrol.
Step 4
Your child starts care with an $80/day discount for up to 6 weeks, or until CCS starts.
Who qualifies
This offer is for families who are ready to enrol at Amara but are waiting on their Child Care Subsidy approval.
Important details
If your CCS becomes active during your 6-week discount period, you’ll continue to pay the $80/day discounted rate for the rest of the 6 weeks. CCS will be calculated against the $80 fee and will reduce your out-of-pocket cost further.
From week 7 onwards, the regular published Daily Rate of $160/day applies, with CCS calculated against the full rate in the usual way.
If your CCS application is approved after you start and Services Australia backdates the approval, any subsidy owing for your discount period will be paid as a credit to your Amara account, or directly to you by Services Australia.
If your CCS application is denied: the discount you have already received stands — Amara will not seek to recover it. From the date of denial (or from week 7, whichever is later), the regular Daily Rate applies.

The Start Now, Pay Half offer covers the first 6 weeks while CCS is being finalised. Services Australia may back-pay CCS from the date of application, subject to their rules and your eligibility.

No. Start Now, Pay Half is for the waiting period before CCS activates. The 3 Days CCS Guarantee applies separately once CCS is active, in line with Amara’s usual terms.
This offer cannot be combined with other Amara promotional offers, including the Every Child Swims swim lesson reimbursement. Standard sibling discounts still apply in their usual way.
