Q: How do you support children who are starting to walk or talk?

We provide plenty of safe opportunities for walking, climbing and exploring. Educators also support early speech by modelling language, reading books, singing songs and responding to children’s sounds and gestures.

Q: What happens when my child has big emotions or tantrums?

Big feelings are normal at this age. Our educators respond calmly, offering comfort, clear boundaries and simple language to help children understand their emotions and build self-regulation skills over time.

Q: How do you handle routines like nappy changes, sleep and meals?

We follow a consistent daily routine that allows for individual needs. Toddlers are given time, encouragement and support to be part of routines – such as sitting at the table, helping with small tasks, and recognising when they’re tired or hungry.
